K4NWS Activation for Jefferson County SET

  Hi everyone, 
In conjunction with the Jefferson County Simulated Emergency Test, ALERT will conduct a full practice calloutSaturday November 7 from 8 AM until Noon.
This will be a "full up" functional callout test of ALERT's systems, in preparation for the fall severe weather.
If available please make plans to participate in this test.
A callout will be issued Friday.Follow the normal procedures for a callout, letting Russell know your times of availability.The first shift will respond at 7:30 AM and will be on the air by 8AM to coincide with the SET.Operations will close out when the SET ends around noon.
This is an excellent chance to "dust off the cobwebs" and prepare for the severe storms of fall.
