I responded privately to Russell, who forwarded my response I believe.  SAME probably isn't an issue, but wrong channel/ bad reception may be.  Lay lake area is weak for Birmingham,  may need Mt cheaha.

1. It has the wrong SAME code for the transmitter it is trying to receive.
2. Dead area for reception, maybe try a different channel.
3. Radio has malfunctioned.

I live in Shelby, Alabama.  Our Midland NOAA weather radio will not receive a signal on test days.  We have moved it to several different locations in our home.  Can you let us know why we are not receiving a signal?
