Hello everyone. I hope you are not shivering too much on this nice blustery
cold morning.
Here is a question for everyone:
Roger Parsons KK4UDU has put together some information that we have at our
station at the NWS. He has sent me a digital copy of this too. Some of the
information is not so new to older/more experienced hams but some of it is
great to have as a knowledge base. Things such as what the "Q" codes mean
and the frequencies of the 2 meter radio that we have programmed in 20
channels at this time. There is also a listing of the national simplex
frequencies for several bands in this information.
The text part is in an Excel spreadsheet (9pages) and there is one that is
just a map of some central Alabama repeaters coverage areas.
If you would like to have this information send me an email and I will pass
this on to you. ( I personally have found some of it useful specifically to
me)
