[Email1] Training Reminder

Greetings to all.

Please do not forget that this Saturday, Jan 11th, I will be holding a
training session for our station at the NWS Office in Calera, at the Shelby
County Airport.

This training is for any and all members of ALERT. Newer members will be
given the basics of everything we do while there on call-out response. More
experienced members from responses can add to or suggest better ways of
doing things if they are so inclined. This will also serve as a refresher
for the older members as needed.

I will hold training at least once a quarter as we are available, and will
take volunteers who might be interested in being the training officer for
ALERT. We will sit down and see how things work out that way.

Who will bring the donuts or healthier snacks? LOL.  I hope to see a lot of
us there for this. Thanks.
