Hello Everyone.

There is no official "respond to the NWS call out" for tonight.

HOWEVER:

ALL members of ALERT can participate in a "station response call out" which
simply means, reports are needed this evening and tonight from our
home/work stations that we will already be at.
IF you are not already registered for the NWSCHAT at nwschat.weather.gov,
you may pass information to others by way of phone or email. Remember that
the NWS Office in Central AL's weather reporting phone number is
1-800-856-0758.

You can also use facebook or email to send me information and I will enter
it in the NWS chat as well.

If the roadways, right where you are, become icy and or impassable please
let us know so that we can pass the information on to the EMA and NWS.
This is a request for information/reports from STATIONARY positions only,
please DO NOT go "mobile" to give reports.

The Main areas of concern will be:

** LOCATION...ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM ALICEVILLE TO CALERA
  TO ROANOKE.*

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO
11 AM CST MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FREEZING RAIN AND SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM CST MONDAY. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY
IS ALSO IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT THROUGH NOON CST TUESDAY.

Again this is for ALL members of ALERT, Thank you all.
