Hello everyone, I hope that you are doing well and staying comfortable on
this bright day.


There is a special weather information class / storm spotter class tonight
that I want to tell or remind you of in Shelby County:

SPECIAL NOTE: Please mark your calendars. The Shelby County EMA, North
Shelby Baptist Church, and the National Weather Service are teaming up to
offer a storm spotters class at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 27, 2014.

North Shelby Baptist Church
4100 Belcher Drive
Birmingham, AL 35242

(Off US 280 just north of Chelsea and The Narrows. Coming out of
Birmingham, it is on the right soon after you cross over Double Oak
Mountain). SCARC's meeting location and time for February 27 are being
changed to accommodate this class.

If anyone wants to attend this, just show up. Invite your family and
friends and co-workers and neighbors for this event. This should be close
enough that most folks even in Jefferson County can be able to attend...
Hopefully that is.  I do plan to be there, going to stop at waffle house on
HWY 119 @ I-65 before driving across to US HWY 280. I hope to see some of
us there tonight.
