Hi everyone. Yes the NWS has requested personnel from ALERT to be at the
NWS WFO from 3p til midnight.  If you cant be available to help at the NWS
office, please try to make yourselves available by radio for repeaters and
nets this evening. The NWS will be looking for reports from where ever we
may be so please be ready to pass your information.

In the words of the NWS that I spoke with " Yes we want ALERT here. Let's
do what we practice for."  Very good point. We seve for when ever for
whatever reason we are needed. The NWS facility may be better equipped than
some of our homes in dealing with things such as power outages and being
"iced-in".
