Hello everyone, I am passing this on to you so that you may better prepare
yourself, your families and friends for what it coming, as well as giving a
heads up for the possibility of an ALERT call-out or more than one if need
be.
*****
We are growing increasingly concerned about the prospects of severe
thunderstorms next week. We've been fairly fortunate so far this Spring,
but now is not the time to become complacent or let our guard down. The
Storm Prediction Center has started using words like "outbreak" and "strong
tornadoes" when describing the severe weather threat for early next week,
especially Tuesday. We've got some details (or as much detail as the
science currently allows) in our Multimedia Impact Weather Briefing video.

Please help us spread the word about the growing threat -- not to hype it,
but to get the word out and remind folks that we are right in the middle of
our main severe weather season. Now is the time to prepare!
