This was just emailed to me a couple of minutes ago. I hope that many of
the members of ALERT are available and able to participate.

Hello everyone,
This is a SIMULATED ALERT for a severe weather event that is targeted to
hit Jefferson Co tomorrow morning, 10.26.13. Little details are known at
this time to the extent of damage that may occur to our power and
telecommunications grid.

We are going to need all available ham operators to help us out to check in
to any area repeater in Jefferson Co. This will also include the need for
some of you to be deployed in the field to help us identify served agencies
that can assist us during our emergency.
*AGAIN, THIS IS A DRILL!!!*

We will also conduct a SIMPLEX net at 10am on 146.580. That should be Jeff4.

We need all hands on deck from 8am to noon tomorrow SATURDAY OCT 26th, 2013.
