[Email1] Fwd: great site

Though occasionally we do get an "over exuberant" fellow every once and a while,
they generally disappear fairly quickly.

From my perspective, I love and am endlessly fascinated by meteorology.  I enjoy
tracking storms and watching the subtle interplay
going on within them.

Even so, I despise the heartaches that they cause.  Families forever torn apart,
lives forever changed.  If I can play a part, even if it is a small
one, that results in a life being saved or a family being preserved, that's why
I'm with ALERT. And  why I became a ham radio operator.

If we ever did become like the group mentioned, that's when I would graciously
bow out and go on to other things.

But, I would still keep the 1 800 number handy when needed.

Can someone please tell me that we aren't like that guy at all? Those are
scanner chasers, want to be's and vigilantees. They are not an emergency
response teaam at all. More like that glorified neighborhood watch group.

Anyways I am very pleased with the ongoing work of our website.   Thank you very
much.
