Hello all.

WOW!!! WHAT A CROWD!!!

To everyone that attended the ALERT CHRISTmas party/meeting last night, i
want to say a great big THANK YOU!! I do not recall having seen that many
people at the ALERT meetings at any time before.
There was plenty of food and I greatly appreciate all of the dishes. We had
a 6 foot table covered in food dishes while the desserts and drinks were
all in the conference room. I do think that everyone ate so much of the
main dishes that not very much of the desserts got ate.

I was so glad to see some old friends and it was nice to meet some new hams
too. By my count there were a TOTAL of 30 people at the party last night.

THANK YOU everyone.

On a side note, if you have friends that are members of ALERT, please check
and see if they get the emails from the ALERT list. If the do not, get them
to email me and let me know, wx4ron at gmail.com, and I will forward their
information to be added.
ALSO I will have a test call out message sent today.  IF you do not receive
a text message before noon, please let me know. I will then need your cell
number and carrier service. This is the at&t or sprint or whoever you have
your service with. I will  be forwarding this information in a list format
so that everyone is sure to be added.

Thanks again to EVERYONE, not only for last night but also for this past
year. YOUR volunteering is VITAL to ALL of our communities and to the CWA
that we help the NWS-BMX with. I am HONORED to be a part of our group.
